Miyuki is the brand name of the best quality seed beads, made in Japan. They come in various forms and sizes, including the delica beads shown here. The delica beads have a tubular shape, which gives the finished piece a nice flat surface.
And this flat surface, combined with them all having an even shape, makes them very suitable for bead weaving, peyote and brick stitch. With the many different colors, you can create the most beautiful patterns
Colortype Color lined: Color lined means that the core of the bead is colored. You can often recognize the color of the bead itself from the name, but in all cases the white core is visible. These kind of beads are less suitable for weaving or peyote, because the outside of the bead is transparent. And when it is next to an opaque color in the bracelet, it seems that one bead is shorter than the other. This makes the bracelt look uneven and not completely aligned. This is less visible with delica beads than with seed beads.
